An outage down here runs days, not hours
Hurricane season isn't an edge case in Ascension Parish, it's a scheduled event, and when a storm takes the grid down it doesn't come back in an afternoon. A generator that sits in a garage waiting for the one week a decade it might get used isn't backup power, it's a guess. What actually protects a house or a business is a unit sized correctly, installed correctly and serviced on a schedule, so it starts the one time it has to.

Sizing it to the property, not to the biggest unit on the lot
The easiest sale in this business is the biggest generator in stock. It's also usually the wrong answer. Sizing starts with what the property actually needs to keep running through a multi-day outage, the well pump, the refrigerator, the AC in July, medical equipment somebody in the house depends on, not just what fits in the yard. A unit that's oversized costs more to buy and more to run. A unit that's undersized shuts down exactly when you need it not to.
We size against the real load, walk the property to figure out where the unit and the transfer switch actually go, and install it to code, not to whatever's fastest.

A generator nobody's serviced is a generator that won't start
A generator that hasn't been serviced is a decoration, not a backup plan, and you find out which one you have at the worst possible moment.
Certified servicing means the fuel system, the battery, the transfer switch and the load test all get checked on a schedule, not just glanced at when something's already wrong. Professional maintenance is what turns a generator you bought once into a generator that's still going to start the next time the parish loses power for four days.
